Flora was the Goddess of Flowers and spring. She was named from the Latin root, “flos” meaning Flower. When she talked, her lips breathed roses. She was the protector of spring and made trees bloom. Her festival was held in late April, or early May, it was called Florala. Flora gave Juno a magic flower, which made her pregnant with Mars.

Jupiter is the God of sky and thunder, and king of all Gods. He married Juno who was also his sister. His weapon was a thunderbolt. He had to hide from his father in fear that he might be eaten like his other siblings. He eventually overthrew his father  and set free all of his siblings.
